JAZZchord plays with music, enjoys and experiments, flowing various musical genres in an "only sound". Jazz is the key that origins a common language, linking the musical pasts of the three artists.

Kimberly Dhondt started her singing career in Andalucía (Spain) in 2006, singing jazz standards in flamenco-fusion bands. Back in Belgium in 2007, she started her music studies in Antwerp,
and continued singing leadvocals in jazz and pop bands.
She worked with Chris Joris, Nic Thys, Tuur Florizoone, Christoph Erbstösser, Regie Washington, Alex Callier, Pierre Anckaert, Frank Vaganee and many others. At present she is still studying jazz vocals at the Royal Conservatory Antwerp.

Elisabetta Lacorte plays the ebass, performing since the age of 15 with her own group. In 2000 she discovered her passion for jazz music. Since then she has regularly attended master classes and seminars, such as the Nuoro summer Jazz seminars directed
by Paolo Fresu (winning the annual study grant) and the ‘Siena Jazz Seminar’ under the guidance of Paolino della Porta.
In 2009 she graduated at the ‘University of jazz’ at the onservatory of Cagliari. She is founder of NAT Trio, that published 2 CDs for Splasc(H)-Records, and regularly plays with Mistigionz and NAIMA Trio.

At the age of six Mauro Pirodda started studying classical piano and in the early 90s he began his career as a musician, playing on different stages with different groups and artists.
Since 2009 he is the main composer of the “Mistigionz”, a music project by a group of Sardinian artists. Together with the bassist Elisabetta Lacorte and the vocalist Cesare Bogazzi, he composes music and lyrics.
